We were incredibly impressed! 1st impressions, you walk in and everything is open and accessible. You get to see it all upon entry. It is ridiculously clean, not like some animal hospitals that have hair all over the waiting seats, dirty floors, etc… The staff is incredibly responsive and pays immediate attention to you and your sweet little or big pet. Kat was our Vet and she was lovely. Very kind, informative. You see, what happened was our 1 year old kitten was stung by a large scorpion. Our sweet little Pain Mei was in need of some help and care. It was after hours and we found this place on line and glad we did. Kat suggested a treatment but also offered an alternative since our Pai Mei seemed to be ok other than a swallow paw. We found a new vet when the time comes and it’s an emergency, VEG, Veterinary Emergency Group on Stephanie. They were also busy but not so busy that they delayed our visit. It was that prompt. Great place, professional staff and very clean as well as caring. Very attractive and well put together staff. All around solid experience! Thanks Dr. Kat!

5/5! Hands down great experience and exactly what I wanted and needed. I brought my kitty Finn in the late evening from Kingman for emergency care and Oxygen. I went to another emergency clinic (Tropicana) and wasn't even greeted for 15 mins. At Veg Finn was triaged as soon as I walked in the door. Exactly what I wanted and he needed. I am in the Veterinary field and always thought ppl being with their pets the entire time was odd and could be problematic. I was wrong, It was one of the coolest experiences. You get to be with your baby while they are getting everything they need and you can sit and see why you are waiting, unlike other clinics, where you sit in a room with your pet or a waiting room while your pet is away from you. At Veg you can see while your are waiting, some coming through the door with their baby that was hit by a car or a cat that is crashing and needs life saving measures. They are awesome there! I was super impressed with Dr. Bishop and grateful for the care he gave my Finn. I left Finn there for about 48 hrs before having to move him to my primary care for more cost effective for me :( And unfortunately My Baby Finn passed away. I wish I could have left him at VEG longer as he would have had a better chance. Thank you for all you do!

Dr. Kat and Pumpkin’s nurse Kacy were absolutely amazing. You can see that they truly have a passion for what they do. Dr. Kat was very knowledgeable and helpful. They both treated Pumpkin with compassion and kindness. I have never had a more pleasant veterinary experience. I was extremely anxious regarding Pumpkin’s emergency and they made us both feel prioritized and comforted. I also loved the layout of the facility and everything was very clean and neat. I was invited to participate in each of Pumpkin’s procedures and tests, which greatly helped to calm both our nerves. I will absolutely recommend this practice to friends and family. Thank you so much for saving my baby’s life!

My dog was recently the victim of a horrific coyote attack in our own backyard. This facility’s rating is not near high enough, in my opinion! They deserve 5+ stars. My dog could not wait for medical attention or care, as his injuries were extensive, and he didn’t have to wait. WhenI brought him in, they yelled for triage and the action began, right in front of my eyes. The clinic is open floor plan. I could see all of his care and he could see me. Not only is ALL of the staff amazingly supportive, attentive, and kind, but their medical team is the best I’ve seen. Our surgeon, who performed two surgeries and provided critical care to my dog, was beyond impressive as a clinician, and her bedside manner was unsurpassed. I was included in every aspect of the treatment planning and all steps/charges were fully explained to me up front. If you ever have a pet who requires emergent care, this is the place to go! They saved my pet and are worth every penny.

If I could give them 1 million stars, I would. Dr. Lorenza & her incredible team SAVED my 10-year old Doberman’s life. He showed symptoms of BLOAT, so I called the ER to give them a heads-up, & we rushed there. We were met IMMEDIATELY by staff to check in & confirm Roscoe’s diagnosis. Surgery was performed with care, and the doctor took all of my senior baby’s medical needs into account. I was able to stay in the hospital overnight in a private room with my baby as he recovered from Wednesday night all the way through Saturday afternoon. They provide snacks, coffee/espresso, & water as well. The nurses were so kind, & paid close attention to my baby both before & after surgery, & updated me along the way. You can tell the team really cares about animals. They are real-life super heroes. A simple THANK YOU will never convey how appreciative I am of them. They will assist you with applying for Care Credit as well, in case you need a spot before your pet insurance can reimburse you.

What started out as a nightmare before meeting the team of VEG turned into the exact opposite after meeting the staff at the door the moment I arrived. Upon arriving, the team was actually waiting at the door for my dog Selena to arrive, which made me feel calm and comfortable the moment I witnessed this. I would suggest anyone to give VEG a try if you haven’t already. The team is professional, courteous, thoughtful, and caring. I’ve never gotten all four of these things from one veterinarian ever! Dr. Neal Villanueva along with his staff dealt with me and my dog for two days, and it was the most pleasant experience. Even my dog showed appreciation by wagging her tail nonstop the entire time she was there, although she was in lots of pain when she arrived. I can’t thank this team enough. VEG, you all are the best!!🙏🏾❤️ 🦴 🤗

My Frenchie, Romeo, developed a sudden, severe ear infection overnight. While we were walking, he began screaming in pain and shaking his head uncontrollably. Being in Kingman, AZ, on a Saturday night with no vets open was heartbreaking and terrifying; I felt completely powerless watching him suffer through a night of whining and crying. As a truck driver, I was incredibly relieved to find this 24/7 hospital along my route in Henderson, NV, on Sunday morning. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredible. Dr. Lorenza Malaguti is truly amazing, she is skilled, caring, and showed so much love towards Romeo. The nurses were equally attentive and clearly passionate about their patients. Unfortunately I forgot the name of the nurses helping Romeo. It is now Monday night, and Romeo is already back to his happy self running, jumping, and pain-free! He’s even back to doing what he loves most: destroying cardboard boxes! I am beyond grateful for the service here. I didn’t mind the wait at all; I saw other owners coming in with even more serious emergencies and was happy to wait while they were helped (that definitely tells you that the staff prioritizes emergencies correctly, which is a sign of a well-run hospital). They took amazing care of my baby, and that is what matters most. Also, a quick tip for other Frenchie owners: These dogs require specific care and the bills can add up fast. I’m so glad I have pet insurance and highly recommend it to others!

I am a retired RVT and was blown away when I first walked in. The open concept, clients sitting there watching everything going on....and it only got better from there! I love how professional everyone was and how the doctors communicated with eachother regarding my dog. We saw 3 Vets in total, Dr. Neal did the splenectomy, Dr Kat was there when we came to visit and answered all of my questions, viewed prior xrays I had on my laptop and concurred with my assessment, we also saw another Dr (whose name I can't remember, but she got injured and had to leave) when we first got there and made us feel comfortable right away. All of the techs/assistants were just amazing and we were even offered to spend the night if we wanted to. Absolutely incredible! I have already been recommending VEG with every post I have made on the socials. I wish I was still able to work because VEG is definitely a place I would want to be at! Thank you so much to everyone we encountered at the Henderson location, we hope we don't ever have another emergency, but if we do, we know where we are headed!

Lexi showing the doctors the "all clear" and back to enjoying her favorite pastime. We've given her raw bones while supervising her for over 10 years. Well, she managed to get one stuck in the roof of her mouth that we could not dislodge. The staff at VEG was phenomenal. They started treating her the minute we got into the door. Being able to see them treat her gave us a level of comfort. Highly recommend. PS...Lexi is happy to report she will only get the meat off the bone now.

We had an exceptional experience at VEG during one of the most frightening nights of our lives as pet parents. Our dog was brought in after experiencing severe cluster seizures, and from the moment I walked through the door, I felt supported, informed, and genuinely cared for. The open-concept layout made a huge difference — being able to stay with our dog in a quiet, padded room overnight brought so much comfort. The facility itself is thoughtfully designed, from the clean bathroom facilities to the water and coffee station, which meant a lot while I was exhausted and overwhelmed. Most importantly, the medical team and staff were outstanding. I was an emotional wreck, and every person we interacted with was calm, compassionate, and incredibly professional. They took the time to explain everything clearly, were fully transparent about costs, and worked with us without any pushback or judgment. We felt like true partners in our dog’s care. What stood out most was how they cared for us just as much as they cared for our dog. They respected how deeply bonded we are to him, and that level of empathy alongside top-notch medical care meant everything to us. We are deeply grateful to the entire VEG team and would not hesitate to return or recommend them to anyone needing emergency care for a beloved pet. Happy to report our dog Zeke is back home and stable.
